gang Id/REcognition Course $250
Dr. Bel Pedroza teaches the Gang ID/Recognition Course aimed at helping uniformed patrol officers, criminal/intelligence analysts, and detectives/investigators identify and recognize street, hybrid, prison, and outlaw motorcycle gangs and their members.
In this course, Dr. Pedroza covers the history and structure of gangs, legal definitions, gang identifiers (such as colors, symbols, hand signs, and graffiti), criminal activities, documentation, and officer safety.
The objective of this course is to enhance understanding of the origins and operational methods of the most frequently encountered street, hybrid, prison, and outlaw motorcycle gangs across the nation. Dr. Pedroza's course will aid in the identification, investigation, and prosecution of these gang members.
Prerequisites
*Law Enforcement/Crime Analyst who are looking to improve their knowledge in gang id/recognition to assist in improving their everyday enforcement and investigations.
Schedule
*The schedule for this course is one day- 8 hour with powerpoint presentations and hands-on application/scenarios.
*TCOLE hours will be reported by TNOA (Texas Narcotic Officer's Association)
