Narcotic supervisor from a detective's point of view Course
THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED TO REFRESH NARCOTIC SUPERVISORS' UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT A DETECTIVE MIGHT ENCOUNTER ON A DAILY BASIS—INCLUDING SIGHTS, SOUNDS, AND CHALLENGES. THE AIM IS TO FACILITATE A MODERN APPROACH THAT FOSTERS A STRONGER CONNECTION BETWEEN UNIT SUPERVISORS AND THEIR TEAM MEMBERS, RESULTING IN A MORE SUCCESSFUL AND COHESIVE UNIT. YOU WILL EXPLORE VARIOUS TECHNIQUES AND METHODS THAT YOUR SUBORDINATES MAY ENCOUNTER IN TODAY'S SOCIETY, ALL WHILE ADHERING TO DEPARTMENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Schedule
*The normal schedule for this course is one- 8 hour days with powerpoint presentation and open forum discussions.
*TCOLE hours will be reported by TNOA (Texas Narcotic Officer's Association)
Prerequisites
*Narcotic supervisors responsible for the overwatch of an organized crime/narcotic unit that deals with everyday operations and/or investigations involving detectives/investigators.
