Narcotic supervisor from a detective's point of view Course
THIS COURSE IS AIMED AT REFRESHING NARCOTIC SUPERVISORS IN UNDERSTANDING/REMEMBERING WHAT A DETECTIVE MAY SEE, HEAR, AND POSSIBLY DEAL WITH ON A DAILY BASIS. THE INTENTION OF THIS COURSE IS TO ASSIST IN MERGING UNIT SUPERVISORS WITH THEIR SUBORDINATES IN A MODERN APPROACH IN ORDER TO HAVE A MORE SUCCESSFUL AND COHESIVE UNIT. YOU WILL LEARN DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES AND METHODS THAT YOUR SUBORDINATES MAY DEAL WITH IN TODAYS SOCIETY WHILE CONTINUING TO FOLLOW DEPARTMENT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Schedule
*The normal schedule for this course is one- 8 hour days with powerpoint presentation and open forum discussions.
*Eight (8) TCOLE hours will be reported by TNOA (Texas Narcotic Officer's Association)
Prerequisites
*Narcotic supervisors responsible for the overwatch of an organized crime/narcotic unit that deals with everyday operations and/or investigations involving detectives/investigators.
