Jason Petty

- Jason has been employed with the Killeen Police Department since 2001 and holds a Master Peace Officer License. Prior to pursuing his law enforcement career, Jason served in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years.
- Jason is currently assigned to a multi-agency task force charged with the responsibility of locating and apprehending violent fugitives. Jason has been a member of a tactical unit since 2002. He has planned and executed thousands of high risk operations, to include buy/walks, buy/busts, narcotics warrants, and fugitive apprehensions. Jason has attended and instructed numerous surveillance (electronic/covert/overt) courses and tactical operational planning courses and works closely in support of narcotics units daily.
- Jason also has extensive knowledge, training, and operational experience in cultivating and managing confidential informants/cooperating sources at the state and federal level.
- Jason is proud to be a cadre within B.S. Narcotics and brings many years of experience and real world operations to the table. He looks forwards to teaching and learning from others in the industry to ensure operations are conducted as safe as possible for both students and targets of investigations.
