Arturo "Tudy" Gonzalez

- Arturo “Tudy” Gonzalez Jr was born and raised in the Coastal Bend and graduated from Robstown High School. Arturo took an interest in law enforcement as he would ride with family members who were police officers and took criminal justice courses while he attended Del Mar College. Nueces County Constables Precinct 5 Office sponsored Arturo to attend the Del Mar College Police Academy.
- Arturo started his law enforcement career in 2000 when he was hired as a police officer for the City of San Diego (Duval County). In 2001 Arturo was hired with the Nueces County Constables Precinct 5 Office as a patrol deputy and later assigned to be the agency’s K9 Handler where he worked U.S Highway 77. In 2005, Arturo was hired by the Robstown Police Department where he was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division. Arturo is currently assigned as the Sergeant to Criminal Investigations Division and Narcotics Division. Arturo did serve as Interim Chief of Police for the Robstown Police Department. Arturo was assigned the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit where he served as one of the three Street Level Narcotics Investigators. Arturo has participated and assisted in joint investigations with law enforcement agents of the Texas Department of Public Safety - Texas Rangers Division/Criminal Investigations Division, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Killeen Police Department- Organized Crimes Unit, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, and other local law enforcement agencies in their investigations of individuals in organized crime and who traffic in illegal controlled substances.
- Arturo has over 3600 hours of continued education on law enforcement related issues. Arturo currently holds a Master Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
