INTRO TO Narcotic Investigations Course
THIS COURSE AIMS TO EQUIP NARCOTIC INVESTIGATORS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN DRUG INVESTIGATIONS, WHILE ALSO ASSISTING IN THE DISRUPTION OF ILLEGAL NARCOTIC POSSESSION, DISTRIBUTION, AND MANUFACTURING. IT PROVIDES INVESTIGATORS WITH THE TOOLS NECESSARY FOR PREPARING AND EXECUTING NARCOTIC-RELATED OPERATIONS, ENHANCING THEIR OVERALL INVESTIGATIVE EFFORTS. DESIGNED AS AN "OPEN FORUM," THIS COURSE ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO PARTICIPATE AND SHARE INSIGHTS ON INNOVATIVE METHODS TO STAY AHEAD OF ILLEGAL NARCOTIC DISTRIBUTORS. STUDENTS WILL ENGAGE IN REAL-LIFE SCENARIOS AND EXPERIENCE HANDS-ON TRAINING.

Schedule
*The normal schedule for this course is TWO- 8 hour days with powerpoint presentations and hands-on application/scenarios.Hours during this course may vary!
*TCOLE hours will be reported by TNOA (Texas Narcotic Officer's Association)
Prerequisites
*Law Enforcement/Military who have investigative duties related to narcotic enforcement.
*Unmarked vehicle to be driven during course operations, plain clothes and any surveillance equipment used during everyday operations.
